José Antonio Hernández is Tax Director at MNP Consultores. With more than 33 years of experience, he is a reference in tax matters in Mexico, specialized in the design of tax strategies for national and international companies. His career includes collaboration with international accounting firms and comprehensive advice to business groups in complex transactions such as mergers, spin-offs, corporate restructurings, share disposals, capital reimbursements and equity trusts.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Accounting from the Universidad de Guadalajara and has specialties in Tax and Corporate Matters from the Universidad Panamericana, Certified Public Accountant in the Tax Area from the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) and has served as an expert accountant for the Federal Judiciary Council. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Development from the Milenium University Center of Puebla.

Parallel to his professional practice, he actively participates in the training of tax specialists as a lecturer in the Doctorate in Tax Administration at the Centro Universitario Milenium in Puebla, as well as a speaker at forums of the Colegio de Contadores Públicos Universidad de Guadalajara and the Colegio de Licenciados en Contaduría Pública de Jalisco.

His deep technical knowledge and strategic vision have positioned him as a key leader in the fiscal and financial strengthening of the organizations he advises and of MNP Consultores.
