LABOR COMPLIANCE

Labor Compliance is in charge of enforcing labor laws and standards, which regulates compliance with policies and procedures within companies, covering what we know colloquially as the preventive part within the labor and safety at work, its purpose is to ensure that the rights of workers are guaranteed, that they are treated with respect, having a space free of discrimination, harassment, among others, thus avoiding sanctions by the corresponding authorities, as well as taking care of the prestige of the company.

The importance of Labor Compliance is as follows:

  1. Avoid fines and lawsuits: Due to the lack of compliance with the law and legal norms, which is why having compliance advice from professionals in the field will help the company to be sure that it is complying with the law, which becomes an investment.

  1. To make companies aware of practicing an ethical culture, since it is not only to comply with the laws, but also with a corporate culture in which the rights and dignity of workers are valued and respected, and with them this culture remains in the employees and in the future in society itself.

  1. Better before society and the authorities, the integrity of the companies, with which they comply with legal regulations, and the dignity of the employees, since this promotes the attraction of quality talent, the permanence of the workers in their jobs, and therefore, the security and trust of the clients.

The best way to implement Labor Compliance:

FIRST. - Perform an internal audit in the company by the specialist in the area, in order to evaluate labor risks, social security, and standards that are not met, in order to identify areas of opportunity, in order to fulfill what is missing and prevent possible risks.

SECOND. - To carry out clear procedures that comply with applicable labor laws and the needs of each company.

THIRD. - Ongoing training for personnel, in a way that is beneficial to their activities and to promote a culture of peace.

FOURTH. - Follow-up on everything related to compliance, constant updating, and audits every few years to avoid falling into the same risk factors.

FIFTH. - A complaints mailbox, so that employees can report any act that violates their rights, this confidentially, in order to attack from the bottom of the problem, and to give security to the worker.

SIXTH. - Periodically carry out feedback with each area or individually, where the risk factor has occurred, as well as with the employees, to avoid them.

Therefore, it is better to be forewarned and advised by professionals in the field, giving, complying with the law and regulations, but above all that workers are in a dignified environment.
